This is Kevin
A tiny shiny lightweight hanger. Transparent and elegant, practical and easy. But there was a big chance Kevin would not even exist as his basis was considered trash. Even though he´s from the same material as the designer´s project, before it´s been recognized he´s having potential for use and meaning he would have been scrapped!
Give life to Kevin, Jess and Jenny. Let them be your practical helper, a playful friend or an enthusiastic, charming promoter for your company!

Background
As I´ve early created a sensibility for material, wherever I go I find myself surrounded by material resources considered trash and often being scrapped. Working in art universities and different workshops I could easily had and have access to all sorts of waste material and leftovers, machines and tools, hence to explore their potential use, to reshape and recontextualize them by which I intend to make their value perceivable. Making and indendent production is good step, using recyclable materials is even better, minimize the production of leftovers is great. I started laser cutting earrings from acrylic glass leftovers and found growing resonance. LeftOVERS is an open data base of vector files intending to make it easy for laser cutting people and companies to use their material to its full and making aware of the potential of considered waste material and animate to start creating, collecting and sharing your vectors.
